With Ubuntu 7.10, when you install, you may see your title bar look like this: Huge Title Bar Sample This bug is where the title bar and the text for the login screen appears in a very large font. This seems to be tied to the DPI settings in Ubuntu. To fix this do the following steps: sudo gedit /etc/gdm/gdm.conf find [server- Standard] name=Standard server -command=/usr/bin/X -br -audit 0 and change it into [server-Standard] name=Standard server -command=/usr/bin/X -br -audit 0 -dpi 96 |
